Near Cleguerec
Les Hiboux is situated in a small hamlet in Kerlierno. Situated just 8 km from the beautiful town of Pontivy and 4 km from the small friendly town of Cleguerec it is placed amongst the fields and fauna of the hard working Breton farming community.
The name Les Hiboux was given to this one time farm many years ago because of the family of Barn Owls that lived here during the renovation. The Farmhouse and the Granary both have Owl windows in the main bedrooms which allowed the owls to come and go as they pleased in years gone by and before they were filled with glass!
The complex has 4 gîtes available for letting.
An electrically heated pool is available for your use from May through September.
Surounding the pool is a large decked area for sitting out or sunbathing.
For those of you who need a change from the pool there is a Boules piste to while away the long summer afternoons and evenings, a Badminton/Volleyball court if you are feeling energetic, fishing in our risseau (stream) is possible and also in the Brest to Nantes canal which is a 5 minute walk from the complex.
In the games room there is currently a pool table, table tennis and some computers for those occasional wet days.
The grounds cover 3 Acres of park land with mature trees and a river running through.

Poulmarvezen was formerly a farmstead whose history can be traced back for centuries.The oldest of the buildings that remain was built in the late 1600’s, a fortified farm with its own stone spiral staircase in a stone tower, complete with gun slit!
You are invited to spend a week or two (or more!) in this most idyllic of settings. To this end we offer four properties, which have been attractively restored and furnished to a very high standard: Le Grenier, (The Loft), La Grange (The Barn), Le Relais des Pèlerins (Pilgrims Rest) and La Ferme Fortifié (The Fortified Farmhouse).
All have fantastic views, and each has its own exclusive area of garden complete with barbecue, table and chairs, and sun-loungers. If there is a baby in your family we can supply cot, high chair and baby bath free of charge.

On site Coueteliec offers guests a 30 foot heated swimming pool; with separate infants area, B-B-Q’s, boules pitch, children’s play area, 8 hectares of private forest walks (with picnic areas), cycle trails and acres of lawned grounds. Golf and horse riding are readily available nearby.
Coueteliec has two 2-bedroom cottages and one 3-bedroom cottage. The two bedroom cottages have double and twin bedded rooms, whilst the three bedroom cottage has a double, twin and a third room with bunk beds. All of the cottages have shower/bath with WC and washbasin upstairs. Downstairs there is a spacious lounge/diner with T.V., video and hi-fi.
